Suspected Bondi Beach Gunmen Operated Alone and Received No Training in the Southeast Asian Nation, Police State.

The pair of accused attackers who carried out the lethal shooting at a Hanukkah event on Bondi Beach, which claimed 15 lives, appear to have acted alone, per Australian authorities.

Investigators further stated that the 50-year-old Sajid Akram, and his son Naveed Akram, 24, journeyed to the Philippines on 1 November. Their itinerary involved arriving in the capital Manila before transiting that same day to Davao City. The father and son returned to Sydney on 29 November.

Lack of Proof of Training During Visit

Police assert the duo did not receive any form of attack-related instruction or "organizing" during their visit in the Philippines. Initial inquiries from local officials indicate they "rarely left" their hotel.

The incident—labeled as Australia's worst mass shooting since 1996—has been officially designated a act of terrorism.

"We are actively reviewing the evidence," the commissioner said, adding that initial reviews indicate that "the alleged offenders are suspected to have acted alone."

Australian Federal Police Commissioner Krissy Barrett told the press on Tuesday that surveillance material documenting the alleged gunmen's movements in the Philippines had been submitted to Australian authorities.
