Previous BBC Specialists Participate in Members of Parliament's Inquiry Following Assertions of Prejudice in Leaked Document

Ex- British Broadcasting Corporation specialists speaking in front of Members of Parliament

We begin with inquiries from Conservative MP Caroline Dinenage, who oversees the group.

She opens by giving background to the unauthorized memorandum prepared by Michael Prescott and printed in the Telegraph.

"I do not desire the British Broadcasting Corporation leaning this way or that way, I simply desire it straight, unbiased and just," he says.

Upon being questioned whether he considers the British Broadcasting Corporation is structurally prejudiced, the adviser responds: "No I don't. To be clear, tons of stuff the British Broadcasting Corporation produces is world class - both factual and entertainment programming."

But he adds: "There remains substantial tasks that must be undertaken at the British Broadcasting Corporation."

The second former external BBC specialist examined by the committee, Caroline Daniel, states she takes the BBC extremely earnestly and that it maintains a "ongoing system and vigorous discourse" regarding evolving and intricate subjects.

"Did the BBC willing to have a thorough dialogue and debate and act accordingly?" she asks herself. "From my perspective, affirmative, they were."
